Back in the Big Apple

I have officially been back in the big apple now for almost a month, it has been crazy how much time has passed since I was in California and how much has changed in such a short amount of time. Now that I am fully back here, I am getting into the daily living schedule with being on my own for the first time. All the things that you dont think about that come up I am slowly getting used too, this includes how to manage my time between work days, working out, cooking&cleaning, and still staying faithful in my relationship with jesus. It is hard to balance to be honest, and I have just getting used to staying in that place with Jesus. We at YWAM have been doing so much! It is really exciting to be apart of and a little overwhelming but really good at the same time. We have a couple of new volunteers that I have totally fell in love with, Merdeith and Marthina. They are from North Carolina and Finland. They have been such an asset to the base and it has been so much fun getting to know them. This upcoming week we have our first team coming in from Virgina, they are Korean and I am really excited to be able to work with them. I will be doing my first human trafficking teaching as we prepare to go into the little Korea town of NYC and pray and intercede on behalf of those affected in the industry! We will also be doing a lot of ministry in the Bronx, Harlem, and Brooklyn. The camp that we have coming up at the end of June with all the kids sounds really great so far also, I just know that it is going to be super busy ! I already have a feeling this summer is going to fly right by and before we know it our next school will be coming. It definitely is different being here, and I really miss my family. but God has been doing great things, so I really have nothing negative to say. Still trusting in the Lords provision in my finances, especially in this laptop that I am praying for but haven't seen come in yet. I was a little let down in Cali with it, but I know God has better timing and has better reasoning for it. The supporters that God did send me are amazing individuals i feel so blessed to have behind me supporting me, and I am praying that God continues to speak to people to come along side me! That is all for now, I should get back to my office work preparing for this upcoming team! YAY!
